ElderPoint Services and Stress

While April is Stress Awareness Month, ElderPoint Services celebrates stress relief all year long. In fact, our mission is all about meeting seniors at their point of need to provide for their needs.

Five days a week, ElderPoint drivers are on the roads of Polk County, ensuring our clients get safely to their medical appointments and returned home. Not only does this reassure our clients, but our service also relieves stress for family members who may have difficulty taking time from work to transport mom or dad and for those who are farther away. This is especially true when some clients need dialysis or physical therapy several times a week. ElderPoint’s non-emergency medical transportation service is also available for trips to the grocery store, pharmacy, or other health-related services.

Qualified seniors pay no fees, and our transportation coordinators can assist with qualifying seniors. In addition, our drivers have been vaccinated and trained in Covid19 precautions and cleaning. Rides are scheduled to limit the number of riders at any time.

Need more services as you, or your family members, age? ElderPoint’s Caregiver Resource Center is ready to assist you in matching needs to providers. Resource Center trained care navigators will conduct an assessment and identify potential area resources to meet your needs. Those could range from activity programs to home health care to assisted living facilities or nursing homes. While you make the decision on providers, ElderPoint has literature from and connections with many agencies to help you make the best decisions for your family. Our care navigators can meet with you at our Center or at your point of need.

The ElderPoint Services team loves getting to know our clients and contributing to their peace of mind. Give us a call at 863-682-7249 or drop by our office for a cup of coffee at 332 W. Highland Drive in Lakeland.
